Default Re: Google Alerts and Submission

I blog a lot using Google Trends and this is how I add myself to Google Alerts. However, what ever Alert you want to be added to must be a keyword or keyphrase you are targeting along with the Google Search Trends...

I setup multiple blogs. Then I trend accordingly to what content should be on what blog. Make sure you link back to some relevant sites that you also control and you PR will shoot through the roof.

When I first was experimenting with Google Trends and the strategies list above, I used an outside blog at wordpress.com and trended daily. Heck I actually trended hourly for 3 weeks. I linked to a relevant site of mine and it's PR shot from 2 out of 10 to (5 out of 10) within those 3 weeks.

Perhaps in order for this to work like I said you must get updated by Google Toolbar within the same 3 weeks?? I wasn't sure so did it again. This time I took a site that was 0 out of 10 and trended for 1 month. Yes, 4 weeks.. After those 4 weeks the PR changed on that site as well. Now the site is (3 out of 10) when just 4 weeks ago it was simply 0 out of 10.

Hrrrmmm!! Then that scenario drove me nuts since I always thought Google updates their toolbar 4 times per year. This theory blew me away. Perhaps, Google can see the keywords in my blogs content to be in the top 100-1000 of all searched for keywords online and favors these domains I speak of..??

Anyone who Blogs Trends see the same?
