I tried doing the first part of what you suggest and it keeps giving me an invalid code, I replaced <ss:if test="$page.hasMetaKeywords()">

<META NAME="keywords" CONTENT="$page.meta.keywords">

</ss:if>
with the one you provided and it completely distorted the site.
