My client had a website
xyz.com which just got redesigned and is getting decent amount of rankings and search traffic. Here is the question:
- My client wants to transfer all the
xyz.com files on an another site's
(123.com) sub folder but keeping the same domain name. Would that be an
SEO blunder?
The Google webmaster tool doesn't verify the files as verification file does not reside on the root. It says this:
We've detected that your 404 (file not found) error page returns a status of 200 (Success) in the header.
Can anybody elaborate me completely and without any bashing!
