starting points though and research is also a big part of
SEO, forums such as these are there to help too - this thread is a good example for adding your own knowledge/opinions if you see any shortcomings - suggestions build up to help those who would like help.

No you can't, but you can see where you ARE getting links from etc and if they don't correspond with where you want to be getting links from then you can see where you should be putting more effort in the future.
