Padfoot, the best thing to do is to set up 301 Permanent Redirects from the old URLs to the new URLs. I wouldn't worry about Adsense for now; you might consider applying to the Yahoo Publisher Network instead. Work on getting traffic and links to your site: you can always monetize it later.
