i've posted this same problem at macromedia's site, and so far no brilliant solution, so i'm hoping that maybe one of the many professionals here might be able to help.

see the problem? works perfectly in when i "test movie" in flash (MX), and if i just play the .swf from windows explorer... but as soon as i try to access it from the website where it is supposed to be available, it gets all choppy & lousy, and crashes my browser.

ANY IDEAS would be appreciated. I'm stumped, WAY behind on this project and beginning to feel completely incompetent. I've tried everything, even the straight .wmv file doesn't work, and i've done this for many other clients with no problems...

working with flash MX, on winXPhome with 1.7ghz & 384 MB ram... this SHOULD work no problem.
