WYSIWYG Sitebuilders are not good at applying multiple changes: So, it is often better to start again with a new page.
The "web developer" extension for Firefox shows that there are lots of problems with this page. See the HTML validation report on:

As others have said, web browsers do try to make sense even of faulty pages, but can become overwhelmed by errors.
I'm surprised that the sitebuilder didn't insert a "doctype."
