Hi, put very simply, it is all about
1.What a searcher is looking for.
2. What results appear on page one or two of Google
Results are based on several factors - 1 The internal page rank of the landing page and who links to it as an authorive source. 2 Who it links to so as to define it as a totally searcher related site.
3. That the search made by a searcher provides them with a choice of sites so that they can compare services, pricing etc.
4 With all possible respect making a comparrison between yourselves and Microsoft is a little extreme. You need to do one thing and one thing only in
SEO/SEM - Think Searcher.
