Hi

I am adding 2 language to my website but i am stuck
my site ; mywidget.com has tools folder which has 401 mb (videos, images and some downloads)

I decide have new languages as subdomains de.mywidget.com cause most of sites uses them instead having mywidget.com/de/ .I also thought if i go with that structure my pages will gone 1 level deeper from the root.

I faced a problem with the tools folder, if i have copy my tools folder to this subdomains i will have 1.2 gb+ web space (for now i will add more videos) and linking for images videos will be problem for me cause i use Dreamwiever (uses site root when linking anything) so i had to manually add every link when i link to something in the tools folder.

As i am newbie i just want to know how you experienced webmasters handle this kind of situation.
I also want to hear any other suggestions if my way is wrong .
