After installing the Google Chrome browser, I checked my sites to see if there was anything that wasn't working.

I use the Brightcove service to host Flash video on a couple sites. It's been pretty reliable and highly rated, used by cable companies like AMC for their online content.

Perhaps it's because I have the Brightcove player embedded using javascript, but it takes forever to load in Chrome. I actually thought it wouldn't load at all, but I went away for a few minutes and it worked when I came back. This goes for my individual Brightcove videos that I have peppered throughout my site as well.

So, what to do? I may try Brightcove's other embedding options. (I think iframe is one, can't remember the others.) Hopefully, Chrome issue updates that fix javascript embeds like this, but I can't count on it.
