As a more tangible thanks, I have re-written your instructions for you (on my website, I deal with a lot of non-computer-savvy users). I've done it just for fun -- no obligation to use it!

Your Avatar is as good as on the WebProWord Forum -- just a few steps to go!

First, choose your Avatar by clicking through the links below.

When you have chosen your Avatar, download the image to your computer (right-click on the photo itself, and choose "Save Picture As"), saving it to a folder from which you can easily upload it again.

Then:

1. Click the "User CP" tab on any Forum page to proceed to your User Control Panel;
2. Click the "Edit Avatar" option found on the left-hand side of the Control Panel;
3. Tick the "Use Custom Avatar" box on the "Edit Avatar" screen;
4. Upload your Avatar! ***Ignore "Option 1" and proceed with "Option 2";
5. Locate the Avatar image saved to your computer via the "Browse" button;
6. Hit the last button -- "Save Changes"! -- and you won't have to start all over again.

***Please do NOT choose "Option 1" and hotlink to your Avatar image on my server! The uploading method, "Option 2", is required in order to avoid the accidental loss of your data. (I often wipe my temporary files, and might end up deleting your Avatar in the process.)
