I’ve been a member at WPW since it started. And anyone that knows me knows that I’ve had my problems with WPW and have left and returned more than once. In my recent return I’ve noticed the new rep points and the other changes to the forum but the one thing that has not changed is the people wanting to know why their site has dropped in Google.
And for some reason these post seem to make the email that I get daily. Suddenly disappeared, after 6 years I no longer care. I’d much rather see a post like
For searching "educating" I got a spanking from Google
Or
Are less small businesses using AdWords?
or even
Big Vs. Smaller Content Site - High Rankings Search Engine Optimization Forum
or
Penalties - forgiven but not forgotten?
The sad part is that there are good posts being made but we have to dig for those as the email we get seems to be more concerned with helping John Doe figure out why his site has dropped in ranking. And the question has been asked and answered thousands of times throughout the forum. But John would rather not waste his time when he can waste the time of others.
Maybe I’ve outgrown WPW and will need to find the topics I want to talk about somewhere else. I hope not but only time will tell. I will have no choice but to unsubscribe from the email if the only concern is that John has lost his ranking.
Just wanted to rant a little.
