BTW, in this case, I don't think that it's either program adding extraneous code to the files, I think it's more a problem with the way they apply these changes site, to child pages etc.

I think, I haven't really researched it to find out exactly what's up.

P.S. If your not using ASP.NET and you want to choose one, I'd go with Dreamweaver for sure. If you are using ASP.NET then I'd recommend a visual studio/web expression combo.

I use these programs and more related software on a daily basis.
