different things anyway
This was my thoughts too. Who cares what the tool bar says, it all a smoke screen anyway. Too much credibility is given to tool bar PR anyway by far too many as a measure of success. But you guys in this thread know this so I can only assume it's the domain age limiting results.

I think I must be in a very vertical and limited market place as age plays no role in my sites getting listed and only a slight delay in PR results which frankly I no longer look at. But I put up a couple of new pages on one site and it has not yet been listed for page rank yet. But one I put up a few months back and that has a tool bar page rank of 3

Moving off at a slight tangent to this, how or why does the Google alogorithim vary country to country? I can understand different results for different countries in local issues and searches for local businesses. But why do the results vary country by country when searching for things of an international nature. For example, why do Google return different results on .com, .com.au, .co.uk, .fr, .sp etc when searching for a site in say Greece? (.gr) surely one one site can be more revevant than another if you are say german or italian"
