Perhaps I did not correctly interpret your original post. My understanding of the Domain Age Algorithm is perhaps different than yours.
What I have been told is that newer domains have a much more difficult time achieving
PR as they are allegedly being penalized by Google for the relative youth of the domain. While I suppose it is impossible to determine the relative
PR of the exact same site as compared to 2-3 years from now, it has been my personal experience that the
PR complaints of newer sites (complaining that they can't rank because of age) is not necessarily true.
