Does anyone know when to many links within X time period is bad?

I obviously want to increase the number of IBL links to my site. I participate
in several keyword relavent forums and post 2 or 3 messages a day with my signature
link. I assume this is okay..

How about spending an entire evening answering every single broken or cracked
TV question on the web I can find resulting in 50 or 70 new IBLs for a site a month+ old?

Is that to many?
