Default Spam Web Sites

How stoopid is Google and their whole concept of back links and page rank. I logged onto the web site of one of the low lifes who has been constantly spamming a personal blog I run related to one of my hobbies. My Google toolbar shows it has a PR of 4 - a pretty respectable figure.

My main business web site which is full of products that are needed and purchased by offices and business users throughout the UK and has been around in more or less its current form for 3 years or so, has a PR of 2.

Thank you Mr Google. So if you want to get ahead get a spam bot seems to be the message. It looks as though real content isn't worth very much at all in comparison.

Wouldn't it be nice if the twerps who have so much influence over the success or otherwise of our businesses would get their backsides into the real world for once.

Oh, and purleeese don't say that I've got to devote six or nine months to building back links. I've got a business to run and customers to deal with and if I spent my time doing that I'd end up with neither.

I despair some times about the crazy artificial barriers that are put in the way of genuine people and businesses who are just trying to make their way in the world by people who have a weird, distorted view that they are in a position to impose on others, which is the way I see Google from my side of the fence anyway.
