In Firefox, the navigation keeps looping -- it's practically impossible for a user to target.

You're trying too hard to do with the gee whiz gimmicky layout what should be done with the work. I don't get the impression you're showcasing 3D Architectural imagery -- I do get the impression you're trying to get web layout work. Lose the gimmickry, feature the 3d imagery.
