Re: Please review my site - www.dreamteamgdi.ws
I concur.
Unless users already know what GDI is before they get there, the site is of no value whatsoever. Basically, they'll want to know what the heck a "Downline", why they need a "Downline Builder" and why should I trust you to help them? What have you done to qualify you as a reliable source of information and expertise?
You've got 10 seconds for users to determine what the site is about, decide if it's worth staying and to click further into the site to find out more. As it stands, the home page fails to accomplish any of those goals.
If you want users to stick around, start off by explaining what GDI is and what they can do with it, then show them how your expertise can help visitors use it to their advantage.
Do not assume that your users know anything about GDI or "downline building". Write content that is compelling, interesting and informative. Use real life examples and legitimate testimonials to encourage your potential participants to click deeper.
You have no real content, you have no logical navigation system and you've put some useful content in the column on the left side of the page where users anticipate your navigation menu would be.
You have a list of topics and headings but no paragraph text explaining anything of value.
Link directory? Forums?? Where's your "Contact Us" page???
You need an About Us" page, policies, terms of use pages.
Not surprisingly, Dave is right on the mark. The entire site concept is poorly conceived and the page layouts are too simplistic to hold a user's attention. As it stands, you're wasting your time if you're relying on this as a marketing tool.
You need to start over.
