Re: My newest creation- Maid service site with optimization.
All in all the colors work but I'm unsure of the yellow back ground I found it to be a bit to bright. But to be honest I do not know what I would change it to.
Their are a few things that you may want to consider.
1. Remove all the styles and put them in a .css file
2. Remove the java script and put it in a .js file
3. Make sure your sitemap meets the 0.9 protocol set by sitemaps.org. Right now I do not think it does as the urlset tag is empty.
4. I would add your sitemap to your robots.txt file
5. The link "site created by" I would have open in a NEW window.
6. I would remove the link to the "news board" since it is a Blog and not a discussion board. Also since it is on it own domain it could help you with IBLs
7. Your phone number is linked to #cleaning. A copy of your home page this can lead to duplicate content issues
8. Reading though your "Cleaning terms" I do not think you went into enough detail. You state "We're not "just" a bonded cleaning service, but have liability, crime and employee accident coverage". Okay up to what amount do you cover? Do you run a complete background check on all your employees if so can I request to see it? If I believe something is missing how is it handled? Will the same person clean my house or do they switch around? etc.
9. A BBB logo and testimonials would help build trust.
10. I did not see any company policies, privacy policies or a about us.
11. I think you need to add more content to your page maybe bring the cleaning tips over or something but it seems to not have enough real text.
Lastly why do you have 3 different domains for 1 company?
www.themaidsofnaples.com
www.maids.com
www.maidsofnaples.net
This puts alot of questions and fear in my mind. Who am I hiring? what company? are they all the same?
With no about us page, no address, no background info on how long you been around, not a member of the BBB combined with 3 different domains I would run the other way.
Note:
It has been awhile since I was in Naples Fl. But I believe there is a mix of cultures there. Do your employees speak English and Spanish?
