All you can do is to contact your credit card company and to initiate a chargeback. Tell them your side of the story; the merchant will have an opportunity to present their side of the story and then they can make a determination from there.....

If this merchant is a 'recurring' charge vendor you have report the card lost/stolen to prevent them from charging in the future....
