Yes, you made that clear, you control the information that is physically on the server. You're thinking aboutt moving the information from one location on the server to another location on the server which will continue to work because the nameservers are the same. I understood that, but so what? That is not your problem, you can change the information that is on the present servers and it sounds like you're about to undertake a fool's errand.

Again, the problem is that you don't control the domain itself. This is going to become a serious problem when the domain expires because it will expire, the nameservers will revert and your websites will no longer be showing.

Ultimately your goal is to get control of the domains. You don't know who the registrar is so you can't contact the registrar.

Since you can't contact the registrar that only leaves you with the next of kin and to deal with whoever is probating the decedent's estate.

If this doesn't work the only thing left for you to do would be to backorder the domains so that when they expire you will be first in line to acquire them.
