To see "local" results, you can search Google using the Geographic Locator and the country's TLD.
For example:
.au, .ca, .de, .ie, .no, .us
Enter your query as usual and hit the "Search" button.
To search in Norway, append "
&gl=no" to the end of the search query (URL) returned in the location bar of the results page.
It should resemble this:
HTML Code:
http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&q=sample+query&meta=sample+query&gl=no
You can strip off the "&meta=" if you want, either way it won't affect the results.
You'll know you're searching locally because you'll see the "pages from Norway" radio button.
Enjoy your travels!
