I've used PRWeb a couple of times, with decent results. The content and copy are paramount. I did a press release with the headline "What do you do with a naked woman on a boat?" and I started getting hits within minutes of its release. I also got general media interest within 24-48 hours.

I think that one cost me about $40. Turned out to be a very good investment.
