Default Re: Should we redesign our logo or not ?

  1. Ten Reasons for changing your company logo
  2. Yes, without question.
  3. IMHO, the horizontal logos far outshine the others in terms of layout flexibility. Number 7 is pretty good, however the "i" gets lost with the thumb.

Number 8 would be my immediate choice but you must remove the ".com" portion of the image to give it a more current appeal. While it was common 10 years ago, incorporating the ".com" into your logo might be considered "oldschool" by today's design standards.

Why is it that a busy Mechanic usually drives an old junker? Most people would say it's because he's too busy fixing everyone else's car.

While this may be true with auto Mechanics, in your case, potential web development clients might be more likely to assume that you're not a forward thinking company, that your skills are outdated and that you may not be worth doing business with.

You're right in that it's time for a major site overhaul. You want to take your site into the new millennium and give your visitors the impression that your company is current, progressive and a driving force in your industry.

You must have a logo that conveys that message.
