I'd never heard of it either until a little over a year ago when we designed a site for a customer.
The customer claimed to be doing over $100,000.00 per month. I thought to myself, "yes, sure". But once the design was finished and we started marketing the site I could see the sales through the shopping cart. And he was up to around $140,000.00 per month the last time I checked.
Not bad for an item that sales for a couple bucks.
