I don't think you created a logo. I think you created a very attractive "welcome splash".

steveteva, you'd do well to farm this out to a professional logo designer so that you end up with a design you can use onscreen or in print. You'll end up with a polished, professional corporate image, a defined color palette and a great looking logo no matter how or where it's displayed.

You've already developed a concept, let them tweak it so it POPS! Quite honestly, yours is OK but doesn't really stand out as memorable.

Every marketing company you'll deal with will want a vector graphic at 300dpi, so you'll have to pay for one at some point. Get it done properly now and you'll be miles ahead later.
