Default Have I got a challenge for you!!

With all the creative minds on WPW and all the talent, I thought a challenge would be fun! Only this time there's no hard questions to answer! I have no doubt that this challenge will be a piece of cake!

See I'm a poetry addict! I read it, I write it, I memorize it.... and whatever else you can do with poetry! What does that have to do with computers and the internet industry? Funny you should ask! ;)

The challenge - write a poem or poems using website URL's. Maximum 21 lines.

Example:
  • 1. With gadgets.com and gizmos.net
    2. With logging on and “not online yet”
    3. Psychics.com and spaminator.net
    4. Computer addictions with simulated sun sets
    5. We're technologically advancing, but haven't advanced yet
    6.
    7. www1, 2, and 3
    8. Answers and questions, and just letting it be
    9. We've created a world for just you and me
    10. We've jumped into VR and yet failed to see
    11. That we were all truly happy before technology
    12.
    13. We can eBay and Yahoo
    14. And neglect the things we use to do
    15. Paint in a program and make curly Q's
    16. Reach for the stars for many and not just a few
    17. But what is it we really do?
    18.
    19. We laugh, we cry, and are glad that we met
    20. We've even gone so far as to have virtual pets
    21. This is our new way of life, the world of the internet!

And, for those who don't think they can write poetry, how about an essay or short story? Same reguirements. 200 words minimum - 500 words maximum

Example:
Quote:
I have been www.flyinghigh.com for the last few days knowing that www.mypuppies.com are soon to be going to www.doggytraining.com for lessons on how NOT to chew up my www.slippers.com. With a little www.criticalthinking.com I looked up obedience schools on www.yellowpages.com only to find that www.dogproblems.com was nothing more than a www.redirect.com that led me no where.

The www.internetworld.com keeps growing and while we www.search.com we do not always www.find.com the www.resources.com that we are looking for. While we can find fun sites like www.hamsterdance.com, www.dancing-baby.net and www.joecartoon.com they do not contribute to our www.education.com.

I've found that www.intelligence.com is often completely lacking in www.information.com and leaves me www.puzzling.com over the www.futureofchildren.com. We strive to www.design.com websites to www.increase.com the www.ease.com of www.informationtransfer.com and leave ourselves www.open.com to www.questions.com and comments.

Www.improvements.com can always be made when www.designing.com a site, but we've www.learned.com that we can't please www.everyone.com. So, we do www.ourbest.com and keep our www.fingers.com www.crossed.com that the www.client.com is www.happy.com.

Www.competition.com is stiff and www.designers.com are talented. The www.facts.com all point to one answer and that is:

It's a www.dogeatdog.com world in the Internet Industry!
Oh, and one last thing, you can only use "live" website URL's. That means that there really has to be a website there, not just an advertising page saying this domain is available. :)

Remember to keep it fun, friendly, and profanity free!
