Default Re: Controlling which AdSense sites use my Adword Ads

"I'm still genuinely curious as to your remark re. "Ford" meaning "car insurance."
An insurance company can simply list the word "ford" as one of the words it want on the page its ads are shown on.
'Ford Insurance' 'Ford car cover'

If I have text on a page that said 'Ford' - 'Car' - and even ' tonneau cover' I will likely get an insurance ad. Insurance companies can list Ford as a keyword. I think Google is cutting down on some of these practises though.

I think eBay has just about every word in the dictionary covered. you could probably create a page, Put an article on chicken legs on it. Ad your AdSense code - and you would probably get an ad from EBay pop up " find chicken legs here" even if they have none - but you would get re-directed to the chicken category. . .

Publishers do not like this crap . . . Many are waiting for something better to evolve.

Advertisers often gripe at the crap sites that show AdSense - But many publishers gripe about the crap advert they expect us to place on our sites.

Yes there are a ton of sites who do not care, they just want clicks. I do not blame Advertisers wanting to choose the best place. But some cheat! . . .
