Huh?
Like DMOZ, Yahoo Directory is considered an
authoritative reference due to the facts that 1) entries are
screened prior to being placed, and 2) paying for such review does
not guarantee placement.
On the other hand, paid link directories are
not deemed to be authoritative, precisely becuase they fail to meet the above said 2 conditions.
