Even though WP is seen as a blog, it can be used just as a CMS.

And WP is soooo much better then using FP, its like driving a bentley vs. riding a bike.

WP.com vs WP.org is very simple, not that complex: WP.com hosts your blog, WP.org is a blog application that you download and host yourself.
