The bolding indicates why I think she makes it more complicated than it should be. As I understand, she works for a relatively large company, so buying a video camera is perhaps the simplest and cheapest solution if you take "time" costs into account.

Today's News on Cnn has an interesting related story:
  • Toshiba shares fall after HD-DVD setback.
  • Sony's Blue-Ray format backed by six major players.
  • There will be a new Blue-Ray player.
  • Play Station 3 comes with integrated Blue-Ray disk.
Note: The Soney DCR-SR72 video camera mentioned in my first post has a remote control like a remote Tv control, so you can easily take movies of yourself.

The video movie camera can also behave as a digital photo camera with the following options:
  • Storing to the 60 Gb disk or alternatively
  • Store to a flash memory card.
