I saw tomorrow pass today on the street just as yesterday was catching up.
When they met up, man what a fight!
Today was insistent on Tommorow telling her exactly what she knew, but Tomorrow wasn't sayin' nothing, only screaming "Que Sera, Sera."
Yesterday kept pulling Today back, but luckily, as crazy as Tomorrow is, she grabbed a good hold on Today and kept her looking forward.
Today, however, turned around, ripped off all of Yesterday's good stuff, and put in her purse. However, she took some of Yesterday's bad stuff as well.
Today let Tomorrow have some of Yesterday's bad stuff, and Tomorrow is just too innocent to know how bad that stuff is.
Today grabbed all of Yesterday's good stuff, gave just a little bit to Tomorrow, bid adieu to Yesterday, and kept walking, smiling that she got what she wanted.
Tomorrow fluttered away, and Yesterday just sat there, lonely, hoping someone would come and talk to her about all the things she knew.
