Re: What is the best Open Content Management System?
I have never understood the craze about Joomla.
I am teaching e-commerce to master degree level students and I have used Joomla for more than one term as a case for an open source CMS - simply because I heard so many positive things about the application and I wanted to get to know it: all I got was trouble - locked files, forms difficult to integrate, quite a learning curve. Maybe it is a powerful application after the learning curve, but it certainly isn't fool-prove.
For my own sites I have preferred custom tailored applications, Postnuke, Wordpress and Wikis, and for SEO there is nothing better than static HTML anyway....
