Surely a page rank can't just be the number backlinks, surely the relevance to the search is important?
Why would too many links be detrimental? We have not control of this.
If it was just the number of backlinks, then everyone would just create dummy sites that link?
Maybe we should create blogs with a couple links to our sites?
I am particularly concerned with e-commerce sites, where no site (except suppliers) would normally link to - so maybe its just blogs and adwords?
