Really? No value?
Since PageRank is only one signal, out of ~200 that Google uses to index and rank pages, it is easy to understand why someone might think PageRank does not have a "lot" value but since it is one of the signals Google uses, it can't really be said that it has no value.
On an unrelated note, could you please put the link to your site that you include in every post, into your forum signature? Otherwise when someone replies to one of your posts, the link has to continually be removed.
If the link is in your signature, it isn't automatically copied to replies.
