For xhtml/css on a LAMP environment you have a choice of CubeCart or ZenCart. To my knowledge OSCommerce still cannot be skinned in a compliant manner, it's a mass of tables, or at least it was last I looked. ZenCart is a fork of OSC.

I'll be as interested to hear about TradingEye as you are. CC and ZC need some work to pass Bobby standards. I don't, however, relish the idea of working on windows hosting, so it'll have to be reallyreally good.
