Default Email & the Campaign for Better use of Subject Lines

Scenario:

I'm a web designer. And guess what? I design websites. So how many emails do you think I get with "Re: Website" in the subject line? Well, it's at least half of all the legitimate emails that come into my inbox.

How many hours do I spend searching through emails for the "one that agreed the quote" or the "picture for the home page I sent you last month"?

The campaign:

Let's all try to be just a bit more informative with the subject lines. eg. "Re: website - new pic for home page" or "Re: website - quote agreement".

I'm sure I'm not the only one with this problem. We could save valuable hours if we could just type a few extra characters.

What do you think?
