Your results page has nice explanations of optimization strategies and how to fix some potential problems. That's very helpful. I had a hard time locating some of the suggestions you made and gave up looking.

As far as explaining more on the form - Beats me.
I'm in the category that wants everything simple.
I want one button to give me one answer to life, everything, and the universe - 42!

The dhtmltooltip or other similar action is very nice to explain things via rollover effect and keep the page layout neat.
Or, use something like
"Spider (Robot) to impersonate: (optional. See below for more info) "
Then explain this below your form.

- Who are these bots? With what SEs are they associated?
- How do the results differ if I select a different bot?
- Or, user agent string?
- Why should I care about or select a particular bot? An example answer can be something like GoogleBot represents 74% of the searches (made up number).
Most searches with NewsBot (made up) are done by people over 50 years old with $50-100K yearly income.
95% of the users of the GetMeBot SE (fiction) are 20-35 year olds. If your target market is this age group, then optimize for GetMeBot.

"User Agent String" - Again, you can explain below your form and give some examples of user agent strings and what they mean. Better yet, link to a page explaining this.

I will be passing your page onto my colleagues for their use! Thank you for the thoughtful work on this useful tool.
