There are loads of dialect words in the English Midlands.
Shropshire is good for these.
"Buggy 'ell! I bost me yed!"
Translates to: "Bloody hell! I injured my head!"
Also, if you are left handed like me you are described as being "caggy 'onded."
And scrawp means scratch, as to scratch yourself. As in: "You were scrawping so much, I thought you must have fleas!"
And here's one for you to puzzle over
"Yo frit me to jeth!"
