Do you mean that linking to a site with a grey bar but with a longer domain/site history cannot hurt? Please clarify this.

If the toolbar is white with
PR 0 does not mean that the site has no
PR, and I am greatful if such sites link to mine. That
PR 0 means's that it has
PR 0,1 or 0,2 or 0,3 etc.
