I do not know all of the different ways so I’ll tell you how I do mine.

From the FrontPage options choose Insert

Then select Web Component

Under Component type: select Advanced Controls

Under Choose a control: select Active X Control

Then Select Shockwave Flash Object

At this point you can not see it on the page but it is there waiting to know which file to display. Right click on the object and select Active X Control Properties and give a path for the file.
