W3c.org compatible marquee?
I have a client who really, really likes the scrolling marquee on his index page. Of course, W3c doesn't support "marquee". Is there a utility that will validate with them and still scroll text on the page? Second point. Is it necessary to have the doctype statement on each page of the site? I look forward to hearing from you on this forum, thanks in advance. I plan to submit the site for evaluation to this group, but at this time the W3c validator doesn't like the transitional statement....I would guess due to the presence of the marquee. Comments? Thanks.
