I don't see for every one earning has gone down. For some it has gone up also.
Over time if your CTR is going down then try to change your location of ads , color , type of ads etc... You may think of ad blindness here.
If your CTR is same and earnings have reduced then you can think on the trust or quality issues of google. Recently some accounts were suspended by google and mostly those who were driving traffic through different sources ( not organic ) for sole purpose of generating clicks were affected.
I am not pointing any one but give some more details about your traffic sources, how the contents are added, over the year growth in traffic etc.. are required before deciding any reason.
