Lightbulb Email

Just a suggestion that came to mind while writing my last post. I think that by default an email should be sent when someone else has contributed data to the thread that you have shown interest in by posting to. I always forget to change it from no e-mail to, yes I'm obviously interested. It would probably mean more traffic for you, but I can also understand that you don't want to flood users with email. Maybe the first email that is sent by default could include "unsubscribe" from topic at the top of the message? (and the following ones at the bottom) As always the user could select not to recieve an email when creating. Just a thought.
Oh yeah, in addition, I think you should pre-load the buttons "forum index", "search engines", marketing", etc. On first rollover they disappear & it looks a bit unprofessinal IMHO.
I hope you don't base my suggestions on the bones in the graveyard of my past (REP ), I think I'm really starting to understand how stuff works.
