Default Who were the Super Bands??

My favourite was always Chicago - Terry Kath was probably the most underrated guitarists of all time. Drugs and booze took their toll on Terry - he was a gun freak and one day he placed a gun to his head and said -'It's not loaded' -well the clip was empty - but there was one bullet in the breach. Those were his last words.
Jimi Hendrix - once said of Terry -'Do I really have to follow on after him!' - Chicago were the opening band for the Jimi Hendrix Experience. Hendrix worshipped Kath.
Most famous for 25 or 6 to 4 - I'm a man - Freeform Guitar - and many many more. Peter Cetera knew that the band had died with Terry - and despite being still one of the top selling bands of all time (More than the Beatles in LP's) they are still second only to The Beach Boys for record sales. Those two Bands also toured together.

Terry used a Fender Telecaster (Same here) but he preferred the sound of a stratocaster but hated the weight. So he used the neck pick up of the Tele and the Hummies of a Strat.

A unique sound - me - I prefer the strat.
