Everyone has their favourites, I guess, and there's no perfect FTP client. I use CuteFTP and have done for must be getting on for 10 years.

But people who are new often want the easiest way. And for them DW is definitely that. One program to use and all.

I have clients who maintain the content on their sites and they happily manage with DW and upload only the pages they want to. So it can't be all bad.

Remember that all the original poster wanted to know was 'how to' with DW :)
