How do I remove the Dreamweaver Check In/Check Out Feature??
This has plagued me for years on one of my web sites. I made the mistake of activating this feature to try out a Contribute Demo. We decided not to use Contribute and now I have to deal with it's crap... Every time I upload a file it says "So-and-so is working on this file, if you upload you could overite their changes"
I've tried turning it off in the Site settings, deleting any files on the server that look like they may be related, all kinds of stuff.
I can't find any support on the web for disabling this, even on the Adobe support site. Even though people have inquired about it, adobe just says, "Disable it in the site settings". THANKS ADOBE! I think it's pretty safe to assume anyone asking how to disable this has already tried that...
This is a terrible case of user-friendlyness going too far. Please help.
