Default Good Advice

This article is definitely on the right track. Of course, trying to persuade clients that the best possible thing they can do for their site beyond the normal SEO coding and navigational modifications is to have someone somewhere write new content and make it available on their site or distribute it can be challenging.

When people start tallying up the cost of having content written and then loaded onto a SEO friendly page and then linked in to the rest of the site, they sometimes get jumpy.

There can be no doubt that fresh content and natural links that are from relevant sites and "good" neighborhoods will win the day. (once the site navigation, coding and usability have also been optimized)

Organic SEO by itself is a great way to drive targeted traffic to a site, but many times people forget that usability and proper analytics are what make a site perform at it's highest potential.
