We've been using webposition for a couple years now with no problems. But as of yesterday, I was doing the search through my browser while simultaneously running WebPosition and I got the following message:

"We're sorry...

... but your query looks similar to automated requests from a computer virus or spyware application. To protect our users, we can't process your request right now.

We'll restore your access as quickly as possible, so try again soon. In the meantime, if you suspect that your computer or network has been infected, you might want to run a virus checker or spyware remover to make sure that your systems are free of viruses and other spurious software.

We apologize for the inconvenience, and hope we'll see you again on Google."

... Now I know we are not "infected". We are up to date on all virus definitions and with all firewalls and have a very secure network. That's definitely not the issue. But I did do a search and found Google saying this about WebPosition:

"Don't use unauthorized computer programs to submit pages, check rankings, etc. Such programs consume computing resources and violate our Terms of Service. Google does not recommend the use of products such as WebPosition Gold™ that send automatic or programmatic queries to Google."

So here's my question: What are other people using to track and report on client rankings? Any good recommendations? And is anyone else experiencing this problem?
